R&R Sports are very pleased to announce that over the last two weekends, five of our coaches have been spending their own time attending the new Multi-Skills '1st 4 Sport Level 2 Qualification' for their own progression and development as coaches. They stuck to the company ethos of hard work, determination and professionalism throughout and this paid off on the final day of the course. We are overjoyed that all five coaches passed the course and are now qualified level 2 Multi-Skills coaches.

Congratulations to all of them and well done on your success!!

Wednesday 26th January 2011:

Wednesdays are a big day for college football normally but this week the college team found themselves with extra pressure as they faced Farnborough in the Hampshire College Cup semi-final. Currently unbeaten in the league Sparsholt went into the game full of confidence.

The first half saw Farnborough only have one shot on target and Sparsholt pepper their opponents goal with many chances but just not getting the rub of the green. In the last minute of the first half Sparsholt took the lead with a guided cross field pass to the far post, a lovely ball played back across goal and the striker had an easy header from 2 yards out.

The second half started as the first half finished but Farnborough then got into there rhythm and had two one on one chances superbly saved by the Sparsholt college keeper. Mid way through the second half a ball was cleared by Farnborough's centre defender and the Sparsholt midfield were quickest to react with a first time strike from 35 yards out flying straight in to the top corner.

Sparsholt gave away a sloppy last minute goal with the game filtering out into a one sided match. They are now awaiting the venue and opponent for the Cup Final...... Could it be more Sparsholt history broken within the year?!!

Within our A2 Dominion Housing Association football coaching programme we have formed a team from Winnall, Winchester. The team were coached over six months prior to the A2 Dominion football tournament in London where R&R Sports Coaching took two teams to participate in seperate age groups.

One of our teams got through to the knockout stages and the other team won in the final which was a great success as they were participating against older teams. Below you can see photos of our winning team and the success they achieved.
